I’ve been a martial artist for close to ten years and have grown up around many people who look at martial arts in different ways. Martial Arts is more than a sport; it’s a way of life, a mindset, a philosophy, or a career choice. Here are some of my favorite martial arts quotes to turn to when examining my own views on martial arts, taken from some of the most famous and influential martial artists of their day. What I love most about these quotes is not the fact that they all pertain to martial arts, but that through martial arts we can come to terms with a different side of ourselves, and emerge as more full human beings.
